Energy Efficiency

Cerpass had obtained recognition of the EPA(Energy Protection Agency) in the USA as third-party Recognized Test Lab(RTL) for the ENERGY STAR® energy efficiency program in June, 2010. Our product Scope covers Computers, Displays &Televisions, Audio & Video, Power Supply& Lighting.
Since 1 January 2011, ENERGY STAR had required that all products listed in the program should be tested by RTLs and certificated by Certification Body prior to product labeling. To ensure consumer confidence in the ENERGY STAR label and to protect the investment of ENERGY STAR manufacturing partners, EPA requires all ENERGY STAR products to be third-party certified. This requirement includes product testing in an EPA-recognized laboratory that meets international standards for quality and competency, review of the product by an EPA-recognized certification body to determine ENERGY STAR eligibility, and ongoing testing to ensure that products continue to deliver superior energy efficiency and performance.
